The Best Career Advises People Got Shared Across The Internet

1. I was not given the best rating in the team. It was given to another team mate who hardly did anything.

I was upset, disappointed and deeply hurt. While everyone else was chilling in my team, I took the entire burden to deliver the project on time every quarter and that is what I was rewarded with.

I vowed to myself that I won’t stay for even an extra day in the company and go the company which rewards me for my work.

Then a wise friend advised me.

You are only looking at the result and not the person you are shaping up to be. In the longer term, it is your work ethics which will make a difference. Then you no longer crave the reward.

 2. My teacher once told me this, I can't remember the incident but the words.. it's still reverberates in my ears. It goes like this in his words…

In your entire life, you will come across a lot of rich guys who are completely tired off with their life, they have

• disappointment on their face.
• Dissatisfaction in heart.
• Arrogance as their weapon.

“People who think career is nothing but earning good money and luxury… surely they will have horrible career(read Life).”

Career means “Journey of life through learning and experiencing.”

A journey needs

• Good companionship
• Friends to chill out
• Money for the journey
• Clarity on your destination

But we are thinking about only money just because someone said.

1. First class journey is superb.
2. Journey with air conditioning is like heaven.

We got mesmerized and started searching for those kind of journeys leaving behind our favourite destinations. The journey will be like this….

1. Superb comfort initially
2. You will be with elite class people.
3. Felt you achieved something

After few hours

1. Get bored of comfort
2. No one to talk
3. You can't feel the fresh air.

After you reached.

1. You obviously won't like the destination
2. You felt like entire journey wasted.
3. Realised this is not the place you want to be there.
4. All your friends and family will be busy with their own journeys.. so they can't help.

Suddenly the life will be like this.

• No true love and friends to enjoy.
• Favourite destination became soo far that you can never reach even you try hard.
• The only good memory is… that first experience of that luxurious journey and satisfy your mind that “you enjoyed life” because very few enjoy that luxury.

So my dear students….

Don't do that mistake…

Don't run like you should become greater than someone.

Don't think like you should get something special other than anyone.

“If your goal (destination) is unique, then journey also will be full of surprises and excitement”

3. From my dearest Brother-in-law.

After graduation I was not able to crack interviews and failing again and again.

I remember one night I came back from Mumbai after failing in an interview and was hiding my face from my Jiju(BIL)

He came from office , my sis told her that I failed again. He came to me calm as ever and told me this.

You fear a lot , you fear that interviewer will insult you. You know the answer but fear of being insulted is dragging you away. Don't fear buddy interview is just a simple “bakar”(waste of time talk) with a person who himself probably don't the answers. If you don't know the answer simply say I don't know and if you know than stick with the words you used in your answer ,You are a fresher nobody can expect much from you.

It's that easy.

In the next interview keeping his words in mind , I argued with the interviewer that he is suggesting a bad approach(which he was doing intentionally to examine how much confident I am )and I turned the complete interview explaining him why the approach he is suggesting is wrong , as I was not changing my initial answer when he is trying to trick me.

And at the end he sent me to the HR room.. YAY!!!

And after this in a span of 10 days ,I have 3 offers in my hand.
